What is Ad 2?
Ad 2 is a division of the American Advertising Federation (AAF), the oldest national advertising trade association and represents all facets of the advertising industry.
The American Advertising Federation is the unifying voice of 40,000 advertising professionals in more than 200 local AAF clubs across the nation. Together, Ad 2 and AAF have protected the advertising industry and defeated threats such as stricter government regulations and ad tax proposals at the local, state, and federal level.
Ad 2 National is led by passionate, young advertising professionals that are dedicated to improving the advertising industry within their local communities and nationally.
Each year, a former Ad 2 chapter president is elected by the leaders of local Ad 2 chapters to serve on The Ad 2 National Executive Committee. The Executive Committee guides the advancement of the organization and supports local chapter leadership as a resource.
Since the early 1960s, Ad 2 chapters across the nation have been providing pro-bono advertising and marketing campaigns to non-profit organizations in their communities.
Public Service campaigns are showcased for public viewing at the annual AAF National Conference. All campaigns are professionally produced and team of judges selects the campaign that best served its community each year.
We take time each year to not only educate our members about trends and topics that are important to our industry, but we also prepare our local students for a successful career in advertising, and we ensure our community members know just how important advertising is to our local economies.
It's an exciting and ever-changing initiative that broadens horizons and changes lives.
