Kris is our Vice Chair for the 2017-2018. This is his third year on the National Executive Board. Like all Ad 2 National Executive Board members, he has previously served as a president of the local chapter: Ad 2 Tampa Bay. However, he now lives in Denver, Colorado and is a part of Ad 2 Colorado.

In addition to these roles, Kris also sits on the American Advertising Federation’s National American Advertising Awards Committee and AAF University Committee representing the interest and perspective of our 32-and-younger advertising professionals.

During the day, Kris is the Digital Strategist for the American Animal Hospital Association, the accrediting body for companion animal hospitals in the United States and Canada. There, he oversees the Association’s digital advertising campaigns, social media, and website.

Kris got his start with AAF as the Social Media Chair for the University of South Florida’s Ad Club, eventually serving as President and competing in the National Student Advertising Competition. After graduation, he joined Ad 2 Tampa Bay’s Board of Directors as the Public Service Account Director in order to give back to his community. His work for Starting Right, Now to help end the cycle of homelessness was recognized as Ad 2 National’s Public Service Competition winner for the 2011-2012 year. He went on to serve as Ad 2 Tampa Bay’s Education Director, Secretary, Vice President, and ultimately, President.

Through all the positions he has served in from the local level to national, Kris’ passion for helping his peers, supporting his community, and making a positiveimpact within the industry has never waivered. He’s developed a particular fondness for AAF’s core value of Diversity and Multicultural Initiatives and plans to expand Ad 2’s efforts in inclusion, representation, and education across the country during his remaining time on the National Executive Board.

An advocate for experiences that bring people together, you can often find Kris at live concerts, playing video or tabletop games with friends, reading tarot cards, or exploring the beautiful landscapes of Colorado. He hopes to rescue a fluffy, four-legged companion within the next year.
